Funniest article I’ve ever read about photography. Freezing insects also works. You can tie strings to them and its like having them on a leash. Funny with flying insects:)

absolute nonsense. wood smoke will do the same thing. you are causing a hypoxic state ( or aspyxiation). carbon monoxide, poison gas, smoke, it makes no difference. short exposure-hypoxia, revival. long exposure-asphyxiation, dead.

people have been calming bees with smoke for centuries. ask any beekeeper. you sure don’t need 50 bucks of weed, buy a newspaper and burn it instead.
